How to Drive Business Through Social Media

ActionCOACH wanted to test the power of social media as a lead generator. So we ran a pilot for two of its coaches in the South Central region. It was important that our test had many opportunities for measurement so that the effectiveness of different tactics could be judged.

We took over all aspect of LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook: developed and personalised their twitter and Facebook pages, created a 6 six step business download with trackable links, plus a competition page which fans could repost on Facebook, or tweet with a click of a button.

Over the 6 month campaign of initiating discussions and interaction with followers, ActionCOACH saw traffic to the south central site increase by 40%, the coaches’ profile awareness increased and 6 face-to-face business meetings were secured for the coaches. This has given us a template of activity which we will now train the other coaches to deliver – so they are able to generate for themselves valuable business through social media.
