Millets Farm – Making the Nationals Talk About this Local Attraction

We were asked to increase visitor numbers by driving awareness of Millets Farm as a great family day out. To do this we ‘turned on’ the local and broadcast media, national travel writers, parenting press and bloggers, pushing every aspect of Millets Farm.

We ran creative picture opportunities, held blogger and journalist days for foodie writers. We got parents to review Millets Farm’s pick your own (PYO), farm shop and its special features such as its Maize Maze.

Millets Farm centre soon became a family destination being listed as Netmums’ favourite farm for 2011. It was featured within the parenting press as a great family day out, foodie writers loved Millets’ farm shop and even Mary Portas mentioned the ‘wonderful PYO’ in the Daily Telegraph.
