There are five things companies need to think about when considering working with a PR agency – specifically us. In order of importance, these are:

  • Whether we have chemistry with your marketing team
  • Whether we have the PR expertise and experience you need
  • Whether you’re confident that we can deliver for your brand
  • Whether we have the ability to adapt and grow with your brand
  • Whether our budgets are aligned

If we don’t tick the box for you across these five things then we’re not the right agency for you – and to be honest, you’re not the right client for us.

I add this last point not to be controversial, but because the best agency/client relationships are a two-way street. So let’s take a look at each of these elements in question.

While you’ll get a feel for our personality from our website, the only true way to test for chemistry is through a meeting. This can be remotely or face to face.  We usually set up such chemistry conversations as soon as a potential client gets in touch.

During these (typically 30 minute) conversations we can cover a lot of ground. You’ll get a feel for us, our personalities and experience. And we’ll get a feel for you, your business challenge and whether we feel we’ll be able to help you.
