Who was the client? What was our brief? What was our solution? How did we create the campaign? What results did it achieve?

In celebration of what might’ve been the longest month of all time, we’re sharing a coverage highlight we’re really proud of.

Created for our client My Nametags, this campaign got the media (and the target audience) talking about all things fantasy fiction and its impact on name trends. Achieving a strong amount of coverage across national and regional media, it generated almost 2 million coverage views and driving a 605% spike in direct traffic to My Nametags’ website.

Here’s how we did it.

Who was the client?

My Nametags, the UK’s leading manufacturer of sticker and iron-on labels.

What was our brief?

My Nametags’ goals are to raise brand awareness (amongst its target audience of parents), boost performance in search, and further position itself as the go-to expert on all things names.

We’ve been working with the fantastic team for many years, and this creative PR campaign represented an important cog in our ongoing brand building strategy.

What was our solution?

My Nametag’s target audience is (very) large, and they read a massive range of different media.

So, as with all of the campaigns we deliver for them, we needed to create a story with strong mass media appeal – designed to reach as many potential customers as possible and reinforce the brand’s key messages.

We know stories about name trends have enduring human-interest appeal. Meaning they’re hugely effective for landing media coverage and driving consumer engagement. With this in mind, we devised a story that would unveil the top baby name predictions for 2026.

How did we create the campaign?

We analysed free-to-access baby name data from ONS alongside recent search trends, supplementing this with research into 2025’s top cultural moments – the key events likely to be on expectant parents’ minds.

We then used this data to create top 10 lists for the girls and boys names that were predicted to rise in popularity in 2026, releasing the findings to the media with expert My Nametags commentary.

What results did it achieve?

We secured 31 pieces of coverage in a range of high-authority national and regional titles, including The Mirror, the Daily Express and plenty more.

Overall, the campaign achieved 1.7 million online coverage views – driving a 605% spike in direct traffic to My Nametag’s site.

A great win for a brilliant client.
