The Need
In 2024, we helped successfully launch SpeedComfort’s energy-saving radiator fan in the UK. But as we headed into the 2025/26 heating season, the household energy-saving market was heating up. SpeedComfort’s competitors were ramping up their activity, so we had work to do.
How We Helped
Our goal was to continue educating UK consumers about the money-saving benefits of radiator fans, while cementing SpeedComfort’s position as the leading product in the market – following our launch the previous year.
To achieve this, we developed an integrated campaign that prioritised three high-impact PR tactics:
- Media reviews – Nothing builds trust like seeing a product in action. We put SpeedComfort to the test with top-tier national journalists, securing glowing editorial reviews in major publications like The Sun, The Scottish Sun, the Daily Mirror and the Daily Express. These reviews reached over 600,000 consumers and directed a steady stream of highly engaged buyers directly to the SpeedComfort website.
- News generation – We created nationwide PR stories to reach wide audiences through the mainstream media. This included a campaign to reveal which regions were bracing for the chilliest winters, which secured widespread regional coverage across the country. This news engine drove a massive volume of brand mentions and backlinks, earning SpeedComfort’s place in the news cycle and boosting sitewide organic search.
- Influencer partnerships – We teamed up with home lifestyle influencers to introduce radiator fans to an engaged but uneducated audience. By showing real families using the product to warm their homes in half the time, we built powerful social proof and significant direct sales. We also partnered with leading YouTube tech channels to connect directly with gadget lovers and home improvement enthusiasts.
